Julian Huxley, Stylist - Staff Bios

Julian Huxley has sized up the great cities of the world.  As a stylist for top salons, Julian has worked in so many cities that his resume evokes those walls where multiple clocks line up: London, Milan, New York and Hong Kong.

These days you can find him at Flaunt Salon and there is no place he would rather be.  He says, "In New York everything has been done. In Europe, salons tend not to value personal service.  Here at Flaunt, I can pay attention to my clients and I live in what is truly the American city of the future."

While Julian has done the hair of A-List models, actors and members of the British Royal Family, it was his way with people and his technical skills that impressed Lou Ann. "When you see Julian's work, you know that he is special."  He adds, "I don't care how many models you do, if you don't have the personality to deal with people and make them feel wonderful, you can not make it."

To meet Julian is to see immediately the pleasing personality that Lou Ann is referring to.  From the first moment of your appointment, Julian wants to know what pleases you with your hair, with his vast experience he will meet your needs.  He says, "We are all finding what is comfortable for us."

Also Julian is discreet and respectful when it comes to the secrets and gossip to which he is privy.  Of even his most famous clients, Julian says, "Celebrities are just people, like anyone else, they don't want things repeated."

With all his experience, Julian does a great job adding texture to straight hair.  His layers fall nicely and do not look choppy, also, word is he is genius with color.  He says, "I like to follow nature when asked to work more naturally.  My natural colors fool others, which is great for me and even better for the client."
